The Magnum is Graf von Faber-Castell's larger, rounder take on their own design language — a round cap profile closed by a black inlay bearing the count's coat of arms. The barrel is turned from Caucasian walnut, a dense hardwood with a deep brown grain and a velvety surface that warms in the hand. Because the wood is cut from real stock, the color and figure differ from pen to pen, so no two barrels match.
